A cute puppy joined the Altınköy family. A baby was born to the deer family living in Altınköy Open Air Museum. The baby red deer that opened its eyes to the world became the center of attention of both Altınköy and visitors from the first day. The cub, which attracted attention with its tiny spots on it, was named "Benek".
CHILDREN GIVEN THE NAME "BENEK"
Stating that they are very happy with the increase in the diversity of living creatures living in Altınköy Open Air Museum, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "We had 8 female and 3 male deer in the museum, and recently another cub was born. Another cub joined our red deer family. We were very happy. Our museum also provides a warm home to many creatures such as partridges, geese, peacocks, sheep, gazelles and deer. All the creatures living here are under our supervision and we see that they are very happy... The little cubs that are born from time to time excite us all and cause sweet excitement." he said.
Stating that the name of the deer was given by the children who came to visit, Mayor Tiryaki said, "Our deer had a beautiful name. Our children who came to visit our deer called it 'Benek' because it has tiny spots. We wanted to give this name to our deer. Our baby's name was 'Benek'. I hope he will have a long and healthy life with his family in our museum..."
“WE TAKE CARE OF OUR DEER AS OUR EYES…”
Mayor Tiryaki added that Altındağ Municipality veterinarians take care of the creatures in Altınköy day and night and take care of the red deer cub and its family. Emphasizing that the animals are well cared for, Mayor Tiryaki said, "The constant breeding of our deer and other animals here shows that our deer and all our other animals are both very happy and healthy..."
“I INVITE EVERYONE TO SEE OUR BABY DEER CLOSELY”
Emphasizing that Altınköy Open Air Museum is a unique place in Ankara, Mayor Tiryaki said, "Our children who visit our museum have the opportunity to see animals whose names they do not even know up close. I invite all Ankara residents to visit Altınköy Open Air Museum and see our little baby Benek closely."
