"Ancestor seed and natural agriculture awareness seminar" was held in Altındağ Municipality. A new one has been added to the Tuesday Talks, which are held every week in Altındağ Municipality and are highly appreciated. "Ancestor Seed and Natural Agriculture" seminar was held for the personnel working within Altındağ Municipality.
“ATA SEED IS A SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT”
In the seminar held by Tuna Avcı and Gökalp Gençosmanoğlu from the Leave a Mark on Life Association, participants were informed about what needs to be done to spread the ancestral seed, seed types, agricultural types, conditions required for growing seedlings, use of fertilizer, types of fertilizer and balcony gardening. At the end of the seminar, ancestor seeds were given to the participants as a gift in order to raise awareness of healthy food.
Pointing out that Ata seed is a sustainable product, Gençosmanoğlu said, "On average, 1 cm of soil is formed in 1000 years. There are millions of living organisms in 1 gram of soil. GMO harms human health. What we expect from food is that it benefits our body. Ata seed grows in soil and is a sustainable product."
