Meaningful event from Altındağ Municipality... An event was held in Altındağ within the scope of 21-26 March Forest Week. Little kids from Altındağ created a souvenir forest by planting saplings in the empty land in Altınköy Open Air Museum. The little ones studying at Ali Ersoy, Aydınlıkevler, Güneşevler and Kuzey Ankara Nurseries serving under Altındağ Municipality planted 300 saplings with their own hands. Then life water was given. The sapling planting area became colorful with the joyful laughter of the children.
“TREES ARE THE BEST GIFT LEFT FOR THE FUTURE…”
Nizamettin Ünal (65), who said that he came with his grandchild to plant saplings, said, "My grandson is a student at Ali Ersoy Nursery... When I heard that there was such an event, I wanted to participate as well. I liked the activity very much. It was a nice event. It instilled the love of nature in children. Thanks to such events, our children get to know nature closely. We planted our saplings with my grandchild and gave them water. I hope it will be auspicious..."
Özge Altıntaş (33), one of the parents of Kuzey Ankara Nursery, expressed her feelings by saying, "We are very pleased with our nursery. It was a nice event for us. We planted 3 trees. Nature awareness is instilled in the nursery, but such practices are more memorable. We love nature. We want such activities to continue."
Another parent, Tahir Sözcü (60), said, "Both of my grandchildren go to Ali Ersoy Nursery. It was a very nice and useful event for the children and their future. We attended this event with my two grandchildren. I think trees are the best gift left to the future. Thank you to everyone who contributed."
“Hopefully, THE SEEDLINGS PLANNED TODAY WILL BREATHE FOR THE FUTURE…”
Underlining that Altındağ Municipality is the municipality that provides the most green areas to Ankara, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "As the municipality, we strive to protect greenery and nature, and we do whatever is necessary to bring more green areas to our Altındağ Mountain. With the events we frequently organize, we mediate the citizens of Altındağ, of all ages, to plant saplings and contribute to nature."
Mayor Tiryaki said, "It is very important for our children to be in touch with nature and soil at a young age... I hope the saplings planted today will grow, become trees, and breathe life into the future... I would like to thank everyone, big and small, who contributed and participated in the creation of the Memorial Forest. I kiss the eyes of our little babies who planted the saplings."
