The “Traditional Volleyball Tournament Among Women’s Education and Culture Centers,” organized by Altındağ Municipality, has come to a close. The tournament, which saw the participation of exactly 240 athletes from 15 Women’s Education and Culture Centers, was marked by intense competition. The winner of the tournament was the Karapürçek-1 Women’s Education and Culture Center.
The volleyball champions of Altındağ have been crowned. The “Traditional Volleyball Tournament Among Women’s Education and Culture Centers,” organized by the Altındağ Municipality and now a long-standing tradition, featured both intense competition and plenty of fun.  In the final match played at the Karapürçek Sports Hall, the Aydınlıkevler and Karapürçek-1 Women’s Education and Culture Centers faced off. The Karapürçek-1 Women’s Education and Culture Center won the match 2–0 with set scores of 25–9 and 25–19. Aydınlıkevler Women’s Education and Culture Center finished second in the tournament, while Mevlana Women’s Education and Culture Center took third place. Karapürçek-2 Women’s Education and Culture Center came in fourth. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki presented the trophies to the top-performing athletes. 
 
“VOLLEYBALL IS A PASSION FOR US…”
Pınar Erkanat, a member of the Karapürçek-1 Women’s Education and Culture Center, which won first place in the tournament, expressed her feelings by saying, “We prepared for this tournament for six months. Volleyball is a passion for us… We worked very hard and put in a lot of effort. I would like to thank our coaches who prepared us for this tournament. I congratulate all my teammates.”

Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki, who presented the medals to the athletes, said, “Our women competed in a fierce contest over the course of three weeks. They not only competed but also maintained a spirit of friendship. We are proud of the women of Altındağ with their hearts of gold.” 
Highlighting how sports activities strengthen unity and solidarity, Mayor Tiryaki added, “We don’t organize these kinds of activities exclusively for women. We also hold similar events among our youth and among the staff working at our municipality. We will continue to organize such activities. I sincerely congratulate all the athletes who participated in the tournament and wish them continued success.”
