School canteens in Altındağ were put under the spotlight. Teams affiliated with Altındağ Municipality Police Department meticulously inspected 189 school canteens throughout the district with the start of the new academic year. Inspections were carried out in the canteens to determine whether any prohibited or harmful products were sold in the canteens, as well as the expiration date of the products and their hygiene. The teams examined the documents required to be in the canteens and issued warnings to the operators and employees. Penalties were imposed on businesses that were found not to comply with the rules.
