Enjoyable education at the Barrier-Free Life Center... Turks' first journey to the stage of history was told with a theater play at the Altındağ Municipality Barrier-Free Life Center. The theater, which was staged in order to make the history topics taught in the E-KPSS course more permanent and to reinforce the information learned, was greatly appreciated by the trainees. The show, in which many historical characters such as Attila, Alp Er Tunga, Mete Han and Tomris Hatun were portrayed, witnessed colorful moments. Hearing impaired people were not forgotten in the theatre. Sign language was also provided for the hearing impaired.
“WE REFRESHED THE INFORMATION WE LEARNED IN HISTORY COURSE”
Aykut Danişment, one of the members who attended the E-KPSS course at the Barrier-Free Life Center, stated that he liked the theater play very much. Danişment expressed his feelings by saying, "Thanks to the theater show, we reinforced what we learned in the course, our knowledge became more memorable. It was very useful visually. We thank everyone who contributed."
Another trainee, Esra Çakar (21), said, "I like the history lesson very much. I liked the theater play, we refreshed the information we learned in the lesson. I enjoyed watching the show. It was almost like we received practical training."
“THANK EVERYONE WHO WORKED”
Altındağ Mayor Dr. emphasized that they do whatever is necessary to ensure that individuals with special needs receive better education in Altındağ. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Our trainees at our Barrier-Free Life Center are very valuable to us... We do whatever is necessary to make them smile and be successful. Our teachers staged a colorful play so that our trainees preparing for E-KPSS can learn the history lesson better. In this way, the subject is better understood. I would like to thank everyone who contributed."
Mayor Tiryaki said, "We will continue to produce and implement projects that will increase the quality of life of our individuals with special needs of all ages and make them smile."
