CORRECT BREATHING TECHNIQUES FROM THE EXPERT

Stating that "10 October World Mental Health Day" is celebrated with a different theme every year, Ökdemir said, "The theme of 2025 is to increase mental health resilience and ensure proper calming in emergency and disaster situations... In this context, we met with women from Altındağ. We did some practices on calming breathing methods with the participants." "Breathing is the basis of life," said Ökdemir, adding, "However, most of the time we breathe superficially without realizing it and cannot provide our body with enough oxygen. However, the way to breathe correctly is to use the diaphragm effectively. Deep breathing taken from the diaphragm, that is, from the abdominal area, allows the body to relax, balances the heart rhythm and helps reduce stress hormones."

“THE POWER OF OUR WOMEN IS THE POWER OF ALTındaĞ”

Altındağ Mayor Dr. said that women from Altındağ always show great interest in educational seminars. Veysel Tiryaki said, "It is very valuable for us that the women of Altındağ continue their lives as strong, self-confident and healthy individuals in every field... We aim to increase both mental and physical endurance with such events. Our women being active in social life contributes to the construction of a stronger Altındağ in every field. The power of our women becomes the power of Altındağ." Expressing his gratitude to all participants, Mayor Tiryaki also underlined that information and training seminars will continue throughout the year for women from Altındağ.
