The graduation enthusiasm of Altındağ fathers... The "Father Support Program", organized in cooperation with Altındağ Municipality and Mother and Child Education Foundation (AÇEV), to increase the communication between the father and the child and to ensure the father's participation in the child's development, has been completed. Fathers with children aged 3-6 and 7-11, residing in Altındağ, participated in the Father Support Program. As a result of the joint work carried out with AÇEV, 15 Altındağ residents received father certificates. 15 fathers from Altındağ, who participated in the training program that lasted 13 weeks in total, experienced the excitement of receiving their certificates.
“THE FIRST STEP OF EDUCATION IS FAMILY…”
Stating that parent training will continue in Altındağ, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "We attach importance to parents' education. We know that the first step of education is the family. Every child is a reflection of his or her family. Children take their families as an example. I would like to thank all our fathers who participated in the education program we started to raise conscious individuals who are beneficial to society and our valuable teachers who worked hard."
“FATHER SUPPORT TRAINING IS ABOVE ALL TRAININGS I HAVE RECEIVED”
Father Mustafa Deniz, who completed the Father Support Program and was entitled to receive a certificate, said that he was very pleased with the training program. Deniz said, "It was a very useful and productive program. We had the opportunity to learn what we know to be right and wrong, thanks to our instructor. We learned many things we did not know, especially about family attitudes and the father's approach to the child. I have attended a lot of training due to my profession. But I would like to list this training at the top of the training I have received. I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially our instructor."
CONSCIOUS FATHERS, HEALTHY FAMILIES
A different topic was discussed each week in the training program, which aimed to increase the communication between the father and the child and to enable the father to participate in the child's development. During the 13-week training, participants were emphasized the role of the father, effective communication, family attitudes, democratic relations in the family and the importance of empathy, social-emotional development and mental development. AÇEV officials also raised awareness among fathers about school, friends, spending time with the child and playing.
