Good news from Mayor Tiryaki to the workers... Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki made statements about the recent strike process at the worker and mayor meeting festival held at Altındağ Municipality Technical Affairs Campus. Announcing that the strike organized by the union was canceled by the court decision, Tiryaki emphasized that it was a historical stance that none of the workers participated in this action. Stating that the strike tents set up in front of the municipality were an attempt by the union for its own interests, Mayor Tiryaki said, "Not even a person working in the municipality took part in this action. Because our workers stood by the people and the municipality, not by the union. I thank them all." Tiryaki said, "We did not allow those who made politics based on the sweat of the workers of Altındağ," and added that as Altındağ Municipality, they have paid the salaries in full and on time, and paid all the SSI and tax premiums meticulously.
GOOD NEWS OF A RAISE FOR WORKERS
Giving good news to the workers at the end of his speech, Mayor Tiryaki announced that the workers will be given a 20 percent raise as of July. The announced raise news was greeted with great enthusiasm among the workers. Workers celebrated by performing halay accompanied by drums and pipes. While some workers kept pace with applause, some shared their joy by hugging their friends. Colorful and emotional images emerged.
“IF VEYSEL TRIYAKİ SAYS IT, HE WILL DELIVER”
Mayor Tiryaki said, "I would like to thank all our employees who stand by us in our rightful struggle with the union. Our workers' trust and belief in us is proof of our rightness. I wish good luck to our workers. I hope it will be better in the coming days. If Veysel Tiryaki tells us, he will do it. He does not say the job that he cannot do. I also have a target regarding the wages of the Municipality workers. Your hard work and effort are very valuable to me..."
Mayor Tiryaki said, "We also have big goals for Altındağ. We will continue to work hand in hand, heart to heart, in unity and solidarity with our workers for a more beautiful Altındağ. May God perpetuate our unity and solidarity."
