Judokas from Altındağ are medal hunters... Young judokas of Altındağ Municipality Sports Club achieved another important success. Judoka from Altındağ ranked high in the "Juniors School Türkiye Championship" held in Amasya on 26-27 April. Ömer Faruk Caner (42 kg), Fatma Nur Genç (57 kg) and Buğlem Helvacı (44 kg) won the bronze medal. Additionally, Öykü Kardelen Demir, competing in 44 kilos, and Elizan İkra Erdoğan, competing in 52 kilos, left the competitions in 5th place.

Buğlem Naz Helvacı (12), who did not let her opponents down and earned the bronze medal in the 44 kilo category, said, "I prepared very hard for the competitions with the efforts of my teachers. I was proud of myself when I placed in the championship. It is a great feeling... Judo is a self-defense art... It also gives people self-confidence. I recommend it to everyone who is curious about judo and wants to learn it. I would like to thank our Mayor Veysel Tiryaki wholeheartedly for his support."
