Young people from Altındağ said "Çanakkale is Impassable"... A commemoration program was organized in Altındağ for the 110th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory. The program, prepared by the young people of Altındağ and held at the Necip Fazıl Cultural Center, started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. Then, Battalgazi Özkent Akbilek Youth Center member Melisa Kıpçak sang the poem titled 'Çanakkale Martyrs' written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy. The theater show titled "Depth of the Past, Rise of the Future Çanakkale" staged by the members of the Youth Center witnessed emotional moments. The excitement of the young people was accompanied by their teachers and families. Young people from Altındağ received a standing ovation for a long time. “WE WANTED TO REMEMBER AND TELL THE EPIC OF RESISTANCE” Hanife Ceylin Topak (12), a member of Piri Reis Youth Center, said that they wanted to commemorate and tell the epic of resistance with their show. Topak said, "March 18 is a very important day... We worked hard for this event. Everyone worked hard. We thank our teachers who prepared us for the theater show. In the part reserved for us, we tried to portray the experiences of our martyred soldiers in Çanakkale. May the souls of all our martyrs rest in peace." “WE WILL CONTINUE TO EXPLAIN THE SPIRIT OF ÇANAKKALE” Altındağ Mayor Dr. said that the young people of Altındağ have put their signature under another successful demonstration. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Our children performed a successful theater show on this meaningful day. I congratulate everyone who contributed to the theater show, our teachers and families who contributed to our youth. We will continue to understand the spirit of Çanakkale and explain it to future generations. On the 110th anniversary of our Çanakkale Victory, we wish God's mercy to our beloved martyrs. May their souls rest in peace and their ranks high." Mayor Tiryaki said, "We believe that we should instill historical awareness in our young people at an early age. As the municipality, we organized Çanakkale trips for our young people in the past. We will restart the Çanakkale trips. Everyone should see the sacred lands where the epic of resistance was written."
