Young people from Altındağ are following in the footsteps of Mehmet Akif... The program, prepared by young people from Altındağ and held at Şair Baki Cultural Center on 29 October, started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. Then, Karacaören Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Yıldıztepe Ali Kuşçu Youth Center members performed a theater show. The theater show, which was about Mehmet Akif Ersoy's last interview, witnessed emotional moments. Members of the Youth Center expressed their gratitude to Mayor Tiryaki for the support he gave to young people. “THE STATIONAL ANTHEM WAS WRITTEN IN ALTındaĞ” Altındağ Mayor Dr. emphasized that the National Anthem was written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy in Altındağ. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Mehmet Akif Ersoy wrote our National Anthem in a small wooden house in Altındağ, Hamamönü, right next to the Taceddin Sultan Mosque. Mehmet Akif is a figure that everyone in society should take as an example... He is a poet who gave speeches in many provinces and districts of Anatolia to support the War of Independence during the War of Independence..." Mayor Tiryaki said, "We must bring our children together with literature, art, poetry and books at an early age. We must ensure that our children are involved in sports and science.
