WORKS OF ALTINDAG WOMEN AT THE ISLAMIC ARTS FAIR

The "International Islamic Arts Fair", organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkish Religious Foundation, was opened to visitors at ATO Congresium. Nearly 60 works produced by women from Altındağ attracted great attention and appreciation from art lovers from Ankara. Among those who visited the stand of Altındağ Municipality; AK Party Ankara Deputy Lütfiye Selva Çam and President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş were also present. The exhibition, which includes oil painting, painting, illumination, calligraphy, wood carving, paper relief, marbling and copper relief works handcrafted by women from Altındağ, will be open to visitors for 5 days. “WE ARE HAPPY TO TAKE PART IN THE ISLAMIC ARTS FAIR” Altındağ Mayor Dr. congratulated all the women from Altındağ who took part in the fair with their works. Veysel Tiryaki said, "As Altındağ Municipality, we participated in the "Islamic Arts Fair" organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkish Religious Foundation, with the aim of bringing the universal aesthetic understanding and ancient heritage of Islamic arts to the today's world. At the fair, the art works of our women from Altındağ are also presented to the visitors. Works of Islamic arts such as calligraphy, illumination, marbling, tile, miniature, kat'i, wood carving and special collections are exhibited. "We are happy to take part in this fair," he said. Mayor Tiryaki invited all Ankara residents to visit the stand of Altındağ Municipality.
