The golden women of Altındağ once again impressed themselves. Women who attended the painting course at the Women's Education and Culture Centers organized an exhibition on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day. The painting exhibition with the theme of "Woman" was opened to visitors at the Ulucanlar Semi-Open Prison Exhibition Hall. The opening ribbon of the exhibition was presented by Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki cut it. More than 100 works were presented to the visitors in the exhibition. “ART COURSE WAS A THERAPY FOR ME” Elif Öztürk Bayram, a member of Beşikkaya Women's Education and Culture Center, whose work was included in the exhibition, stated that she discovered her talent for painting thanks to the course she attended. Bayram continued his words with the following statements: "I am receiving cancer treatment. The painting course I attended at the center was therapy for me. While painting, I never thought that I was sick. I transferred my inner feelings to painting. I am glad that this course has been opened. My advice to housewives is that they should definitely attend the courses. I would like to thank our President Veysel for providing us with these opportunities. I also hope that 2026 will be a good year in which violence against women ends." Sümeyye Çağlayan Kargı, member of Güneşevler Women's Education and Culture Center, said, "I am growing the love of my recently lost baby in the plant I bought for my home. I wanted to reflect this in my painting. I am someone who always wants to improve myself. I think the painting course contributed to my personal development. I would like to thank our Mayor of Altındağ, Veysel Tiryaki, for the opportunities he provided us. Happy Women's Day to all the hardworking women." “ALTINDAG IS A DISTRICT WHERE WOMEN ARE VALUED…” Mayor Tiryaki, who visited the exhibition with the women of Altındağ after cutting the opening ribbon of the exhibition, said, "I really liked each and every work in the exhibition. Each work is an indicator of what women can achieve when given the opportunity... I congratulate all the women who worked and whose works were included in this exhibition, and I wish them continued success." Mayor Tiryaki said, "Altındağ is a district where women are valued and happy to live here... We do our best to ensure that this is always the case. Women from Altındağ always support each other, join hands, and undertake such good works. I sincerely congratulate all our women, especially the women from Altındağ, on March 8, International Women's Day." Mayor Tiryaki invited all Ankara residents to visit the painting exhibition.
