VISIT TO ZERO WASTE SCHOOL FROM AFRICA

Zero Waste Center, located in the Capital National Garden, continues to host thousands of visitors since the first day it was opened. This time, Zero Waste Training and Simulation Center hosted the delegation from Africa. Within the scope of the visit, Altındağ Municipality's recycling efforts were explained, and a presentation was made on the world's zero waste journey, waste-free shopping models and zero waste practices. The delegation examined the works at the center and congratulated Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Veysel Tiryaki for their zero waste focused work. After the presentation, the African delegation, which produced recycling materials from waste cardboards, had enjoyable moments. “I LIKE ZERO WASTE CENTER VERY MUCH” Stating that he liked the Zero Waste Center very much, Sidya Souare said, "We received information about recycling activities. We organized a candy box activity from waste cardboards. The event went very well. I would love to visit this center again. I recommend everyone to come here." “WE ARE THE PIONEERS OF RECYCLING…” Emphasizing that they attach great importance to recycling projects, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "As Altındağ Municipality, we carry out important works on cleaning, waste management and recycling. We carry out successful studies on Zero Waste. We strive to be a pioneer in this regard. Thanks to these studies, we both prevent waste and contribute to recycling." Mayor Tiryaki said, "In our Zero Waste Training Center located in the Capital National Garden, people from all age groups, schools, institutions and organizations can attend the trainings held in our center by making an appointment. We instill environmental awareness in our children from an early age through our recycling workshops and presentations. We invite all citizens of Ankara to support our recycling and cleaning efforts."
