Veysel Tiryaki said, "We wanted our little ones, who normally attend special education schools, not to be left behind in their education during the summer break, and to spend the holiday productively. We wanted our center to serve them throughout the summer. For this reason, we opened the doors of our center for them during the summer period and hosted them. There was a great interest. They spent the summer vacation very productively, they were very happy. I would like to thank our dear students and their families who worked for them for their participation, and wish them a new education period full of success." Mayor Tiryaki added that the Barrier-Free Life Center attracted great attention from disabled individuals residing in Altındağ and their families, and said, "When opening this center, we aimed to reach disabled individuals aged 18 and over who do not attend a school and do not have an active social life during the day. Our center really attracted great interest from our disabled children. They became active here, participated in social life, did sports and had fun. Their families were also very happy. When they were happy, we were also happy." Mayor Tiryaki said, "As the municipality, we will continue to do whatever is necessary to provide better service to individuals with special needs." “MY DAUGHTER IS VERY HAPPY WHEN COMING HERE” Meryem Ketenci (44), mother of 12-year-old Elif Ketenci, who was visually impaired from birth, said, "I live in Karapürçek District. I learned that they provide such an opportunity for children under the age of 18 during the summer holiday period and we applied immediately. It was very good for socialization. My daughter and I made new friends. We do not want our children to be at home, we want them to spend quality time outside. Our children are different from other children... May God bless everyone who contributed to the construction of this center. I hope the activities continue to increase."
