The most special competition... The "Special Athletes Ankara Provincial Cup" competition, organized by the Turkish Special Athletes Sports Federation at the Altınköy Open Air Museum Equestrian Facilities, witnessed colorful moments. Special athletes from Ankara, Antalya, Izmir and Nevşehir participated in the competition held for the first time in Turkey in the Horse Gymnastics (Para Vaulting) branch. The young athletes were also supported by their families and friends. In the competition in which a total of 25 athletes participated, special athletes with down syndrome, autism and mental differences competed by performing the compulsory serial gymnastic movements performed on horses. At the end of the competition, the winners were given awards. “I CONGRATULATE OUR SPECIAL ATHLETES” Congratulating all the special athletes participating in the competition, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "April 2 is Autism Awareness Day... We are aware of the meaning and importance of today, as well as autism. That's why we hosted such a meaningful event on this meaningful day." Mayor Tiryaki said, "I congratulate all our special children who competed in the 'Special Athletes Ankara Provincial Cup' competition held at Altınköy Open Air Museum Equestrian Facilities.
