Great success from the athletes from Altındağ... The athletes from Altındağ, who did not leave every competition they participated in without receiving a medal, achieved another important success. Judoka and wrestlers of Altındağ Municipality Sports Club left their mark on the competitions they participated in. Altındağ athletes managed to become the stars of the tournaments they participated in by receiving 18 medals in total. 7 MEDALS FROM JUDOISTS Judoka of Altındağ Municipality Sports Club won 7 medals in the "Stars Semi-Final" group competitions held in Sinop on 7-8 February and qualified to compete in the Türkiye finals. While Kerem Berk Güllü and Eray Efe Aslantaş came first, Buğlem Naz Helvacı and Yusuf Talha Okçu had the joy of winning the silver medal. Betül Feyza Korkmaz, Sinem Alışal and Ecrin Oğur were entitled to receive bronze medals. 11 MEDALS FROM WRESTLERS Another success news came from the wrestlers. Athletes from Altındağ, who participated in the wrestling competitions held in Ankara between 9-11 February, won a total of 11 medals. In the freestyle wrestling category, Bayram Efe Okay (57 kg) and Rabia Mina Kargı (65 kg) won the gold medal. Emre Yılmaz (85 kg) came second in the freestyle wrestling category and Cenk Tozkoparan (85 kg) came second in the Greco-Roman category. Muhammed Emin Özer (57 kg), Muhammed Eray Berk (62 kg), Muhammed Ömer Altuğ (75 kg), Özcan Mert Akdeğirmen (57 kg) and Bünyamin Yıldızer (75 kg) won the bronze medal, while Mehmet Çağlar Uzun (75 kg) and Enes Yıldız (48 kg) left the competition in fifth place. “THANK OUR MAYOR” Sinem Alışal (12), one of the athletes who were entitled to receive the bronze medal, expressed her feelings with the words: "I have been interested in judo for 3 years. We train 5 days a week. I love judo very much, we have a nice environment in the course. I made new friends. I want to be the champion of Turkey and Europe. Rabia Mina Kargı (16), the winner of the gold medal, expressed her feelings with the following words: "My family directed me to this sport. I have been wrestling for about a year and a half. I am very happy to win a gold medal in the competitions. I want to be a good coach in the future.
