Sacrificial animal slaughtering locations have been determined in Altındağ. This year, in addition to the designated "Sacrificial Animal Sales Area" in Tatlar Neighborhood, slaughtering will be permitted at 5 other locations in Altındağ.

Preparations for the sacrificial animal slaughtering continue uninterrupted in Altındağ. Besides the "Sacrificial Animal Sales Area" in Tatlar Neighborhood, slaughtering will be permitted at 5 other locations. Altındağ Municipality has warned citizens against slaughtering animals outside of the designated areas.

WHERE ARE THE SACRIFICIAL ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING LOCATIONS?

The designated slaughtering locations for sacrificial animals, as determined by Altındağ Municipality, are as follows:

- Altındağ Municipality Sacrificial Animal Sales Area (Tatlar Neighborhood)

- İskitler Neighborhood Market (Zübeyde Hanım Neighborhood, Seçim Street)

- Ali Ersoy Neighborhood Market (Güneşevler Neighborhood, Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street)

- Gülpınar Neighborhood Market (Yıldıztepe Neighborhood, 166th Street)

- Karacaören Neighborhood Market (Karacaören Neighborhood, 1538th Street)

- Karapürçek Neighborhood Market (Karapürçek Neighborhood, Şehit Serdar Koçak Street - Former 309th Street)

“WE WILL NOT ALLOW SLAUGHTERING IN ENVIRONMENTS THAT ENDANGER PUBLIC HEALTH”

Necessary measures have been taken to ensure that the citizens of Altındağ can celebrate Eid al-Adha in peace. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki, emphasizing the measures taken, stated, “As a municipality, we have taken every precaution to ensure that our citizens can perform their religious duties in hygienic and peaceful environments. We have identified suitable areas for animal sacrifice in our district. As in previous years, we will not allow animal sacrifices to be performed in environments that endanger public health. Our teams will be on alert 24 hours a day against any adverse situations.”

Mayor Tiryaki also underlined that the sale and slaughter of sacrificial animals will not be permitted on streets, roads, or between buildings, except for the designated sales and slaughter areas.
