PARENTAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS STARTED IN ALTındağ

Great support for parents of Altındağ... "Mother Support Program" and "Father Support Program" organized by Altındağ Municipality and Mother and Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) in order to support the parenting skills of mothers and fathers and increase their role in their children's development have started. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "We attach importance to parents' education. We know that the first step of education is the family. Every child is a reflection of his or her family. Children take their families as an example. We started an education program to raise conscious individuals who are beneficial to society. CONSCIOUS PARENTS, HEALTHY CHILDREN The trainings given by expert trainers Sema Mısırdalı and Erol Turgut attract great attention from the parents of Altındağ. The Mother Support Program aims to support participants on issues such as being a woman and a mother, children's rights and family attitudes, developmental characteristics of children, what can be done in the face of children's challenging behavior, and the child's gaining responsibility. The training will last 2.5 hours, once a week, and will continue for 15 weeks in total. Within the scope of the Father Support Program, it is aimed to ensure that the father takes an active role and responsibility in child development. The training program will last 2 hours, 1 day a week, and will continue for 13 weeks in total. Educational subjects include; Topics include the role of the father, family attitudes, listening and understanding, developing positive behavior, school and family, school and father. "I RECOMMEND ALL MOTHERS TO JOIN" Tuğçe Polat (36), mother of two children who participated in the AÇEV training program, said, "I learned about the Mother Support Program from my friend and I wanted to participate as well. I try not to miss such trainings in order to improve myself. What we learn in the Mother Support Program is not limited only here. There are also in-home activities given to us by our teacher. We do these activities with my children and my wife. It is fun for them too. In the training, we first discussed the difficulties of being a woman and a mother. We also learned how to cope with these difficulties. As mothers, we have a lot of burden in life... While shouldering this burden. "Sometimes we don't realize how tired we are. We have a nice environment here where we can share our burdens a little bit. I recommend all mothers with young children to join the Mother Support Program," she said. In the first weeks, we focused on communicating with children and spending quality time with children. We had a home activity. My wife, my son and I had a pleasant time thanks to this activity. We need to understand our child. I believe that this training creates awareness between the child and the parent. Everyone should benefit from Mother and Father Support programs.
