Visit from Mayor Tiryaki to the Barrier-Free Life Center… Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki met with individuals with special needs and their families who attended courses at the Barrier-Free Life Center, which operates under Altındağ Municipality. Mayor Tiryaki first visited the sports workshop, visual activity workshop, handicraft workshop, computer workshop and music workshop in the Barrier-Free Life Center one by one. Mayor Tiryaki, who received information about the workshops, did not neglect to chat with individuals with special needs and their families. "I WAS WAITING FOR THIS PLACE TO OPEN" Emine Taşyürek, mother of 23-year-old Enes Taşyürek, one of the Barrier-Free Life Center trainees, noted that they come to the Barrier-Free Life Center every day with her son. Taşyürek explained his feelings with the following words: "My son Enes continues his computer and music courses in this center. I was looking forward to the opening of this center. I always wanted to have a place like this in Altındağ. My son gets up early in the morning to come here. The environment here makes him very happy. As a mother, I would like to thank everyone who listened to our voice and contributed to the construction of this center. I pray a lot for our Municipality and our Mayor. May God bless us." Hatice Menşur, mother of one of the trainees, İmran Menşur, said, "Since my daughter uses a wheelchair, it is very difficult for us to go anywhere. Our social activities are also limited... We cannot go to and from spouses, friends or relatives. The Barrier-Free Life Center has been very good for my daughter. Our special children should not stay at home... My child attends courses here and learns new things. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the construction of the Barrier-Free Life Center." I visited the workshops one by one. They have accomplished great work. We have talented, brilliant young people in our center.
