March 8 events started in Altındağ. As in previous years, the opening ceremony of the workplaces of women from Altındağ who became their own bosses by opening their own businesses was held. Mayor Tiryaki also attended the joyful opening ceremonies of the women of Altındağ. Mayor Tiryaki cut the ribbon for the opening of "Akman Unlu Mamüller", opened by Hacer Akman, a member of Çamlık Women's Education and Culture Center, and "İnci Tailor - Dowry House", opened by Selma Kellegöz and Hamide Kaplan, who learned their profession by attending the sewing and furnishing course at Mevlana and Hüseyin Gazi Women's Education and Culture Centers. Mayor Tiryaki congratulated all the women of Altındağ who made their dreams come true. “WE THANK OUR MAYOR FOR PROVIDING THESE OPPORTUNITIES TO US WOMEN” Hacer Akman, who had exciting moments at the opening of the business, thanked Altındağ Mayor Dr. who always supported them. He expressed his gratitude to Veysel Tiryaki. Akman told his story from trainee to boss with the following words: "I attended courses at Çamlık Women's Education and Culture Center. I had the opportunity to improve myself not only professionally but also personally. My communication with people strengthened. My self-confidence increased and I understood the value of producing better. The courses I attended gave me both knowledge and courage. Afterwards, I continued to improve myself and found the courage to take this step today. I now have my own workplace. I would especially like to thank our Mayor who offers these opportunities to women, supports us and is always with us." Hamide Kaplan, who improved herself by attending sewing and furnishing courses at Mevlana Women's Education and Culture Center, said, "Thanks to the courses we attended at the Women's Education and Culture Center, we improved ourselves and received our documents. In this way, we opened our shop. I was sewing with my own means at home. When we had such an opportunity, thanks to our President Veysel, he was instrumental and pioneered. We wanted to take advantage of this opportunity. We wanted to contribute to the household budget and earn our own money." “WE HAVE REALIZED OUR BIGGEST DREAM” Selma Kellegöz, a member of Hüseyin Gazi Women's Education and Culture Center, shared her joy with her family and friends. Kellegöz said, "We went through the same path with my friend. We also went to courses. I went to sewing, jewelry needle lace and felting courses. We spent our time at the Women's Education and Culture Center and learned a lot. These courses contributed greatly to us. We received our master and master instructor certificates. We realized our biggest dream." “WOMEN'S EDUCATION AND CULTURE CENTERS CHANGED WOMEN'S LIVES” Emphasizing that they do whatever it takes to support the women of Altındağ in every field, Mayor Tiryaki said, "The Women's Education and Culture Centers that we brought to Altındağ years ago changed the lives of many women. No success is a coincidence. There have been hundreds of women from Altındağ who studied at university, got a driver's license, and achieved their dreams. We have witnessed these successes. We believe that women can achieve anything if they are given the opportunity. As the municipality, we will always support women who work, produce, and labor." Mayor Tiryaki congratulated all women, especially the women of Altındağ, on March 8, International Women's Day.
