Hypertension screening for women in Altındağ... In cooperation with Altındağ Municipality and Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, a seminar on hypertension and hypertension screening were organized for women in Altındağ. First of all, healthcare professionals provided necessary information and advice about hypertension. Then, blood pressure was measured. Women from Altındağ, who showed great interest in the health screening and information provided, expressed their gratitude to Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Tiryaki. FIRST SEMINAR, THEN BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT First, an information seminar about hypertension was held. In the seminar, topics such as what hypertension is, the prevalence of hypertension in the world and in our country, the damage caused by hypertension to organs, diseases that may develop due to hypertension, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension were discussed. At the end of the seminar, the women underwent a free hypertension examination. “WE THANK OUR MAYOR VERY MUCH” Cemalnur Öztürk, a member of Doğantepe Women's Education and Culture Center who attended the free screening, said, "I have been suffering from hypertension for 18 years. We thank our Mayor very much." “OUR FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS WILL CONTINUE” Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "As Altındağ Municipality, in cooperation with Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, we organized a seminar and hypertension screening for women in Altındağ in order to draw attention to World Hypertension Day. A total of 5 thousand citizens of Altındağ have participated in the cancer, diabetes, obesity, hearing, geriatrics, that is, healthy aging, eye pressure and Alzheimer's screenings we have carried out so far. These screenings and the accompanying information seminars were greatly appreciated by our citizens of Altındağ. Thanks to these controls, many "We touched people's lives. Our citizens, who were unaware of their disease, were diagnosed early, and had no knowledge of treatment, started their treatment."
