Historical photographs of the historic night began to be exhibited in Altındağ Municipality. Within the scope of the "15 July Democracy and National Unity Day" commemoration events, the "15 July Press Photos Exhibition" organized by the Altındağ Municipality Press and Public Relations Directorate opened its doors at the Altındağ Municipality Service Building. The exhibition, which was opened with the participation of Altındağ Municipality Deputy Mayors, unit managers, municipal staff and many citizens, received great appreciation. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki also visited the exhibition and examined the immortal photographs closely. The "15 July Press Photos" exhibition, located on the ground floor of the town hall, will be open to visitors until Friday, July 19. "WE WILL NEVER FORGET JULY 15, WE WILL NOT MAKE IT FORGOTTEN..." Mayor Tiryaki, who had emotional moments in the exhibition, stated that the coup attempt has become a memory thanks to such events, and said, "As Altındağ Municipality, we are hosting another very important exhibition. The exhibition, which includes photographs of the day and night of July 15, gave us all emotional moments. While examining the photographs, we literally relived the day of July 15. The Turkish Nation resisted the coup plotters at the cost of their lives on the night of July 15. It is like a slap in the face to those who want to drown our country in darkness." "Our nation, which showed great resistance and courage against the uprising, illuminated the longest and darkest night in the history of the Republic. Seeing the historic press photographs of that night once again deeply touched all of us," he said. President Tiryaki said, "I wish God's mercy to our citizens who lost their lives on the night of July 15, and my condolences to their grieving families once again. I pray for a healthy and long life for our veterans. May God not let us experience such pain again. We will never forget our heroes who shielded themselves in front of bullets and tanks for the sake of our country, and we will not let them forget."
