Altındağ Municipality continues to be the pioneer of urban transformation. The urban transformation to be carried out in the İskitler region, located within the borders of Zübeyde Hanım District, and in the region formerly known as Altınpark District, located within the borders of Güneşevler District, has been initiated. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki held a meeting regarding the ongoing work. Citizens representing the beneficiaries from both regions, neighborhood headmen, relevant council members, Altındağ Municipality deputy mayors and relevant managers also attended the meeting hosted by Mayor Tiryaki, held at the Altındağ Municipality Council Hall. Providing information about the ongoing works, Mayor Tiryaki also answered the questions from the neighborhood representatives. “WE MADE TRANSFORMATION FOR YEARS, NO ONE FIGHTED” Recalling the urban transformation works that Altındağ Municipality has successfully carried out in the past, Mayor Tiryaki said, "As Altındağ Municipality, we are a brand in urban transformation, we are a pioneer in this regard. In our previous periods, we carried out very successful urban transformation works in different regions. No one was violated, no one was upset. We demolished thousands of slums without any fight or noise, and replaced them with modern residences, parks and social facilities. There was no one who was dissatisfied." President Tiryaki said: "The urban transformation work we plan to carry out covers an area of approximately 33 hectares in the region known as İskitler and approximately 15 hectares in the region formerly known as Altınpark Neighborhood. We have 4475 eligible citizens in the İskitler region and 1616 in the region we refer to as Altınpark. We will rapidly transform the old buildings in these regions, bring the residents of the neighborhood to a modern and peaceful life and make the beneficiaries smile, hopefully... The land work, architectural and urban design studies related to the project have been completed. Our Municipality's "Relevant personnel held meetings with our citizens. The process is progressing very quickly. We will achieve results at the same speed and we will do whatever is necessary to realize the dreams of our neighborhood residents as soon as possible. I would like to thank all our eligible citizens for their trust and support regarding urban transformation." Neighborhood representatives said that the residents of the neighborhood were looking forward to the transformation and that they supported Altındağ Municipality, and expressed their gratitude to Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Tiryaki for the work carried out.
