Altındağ Municipality continues to make the citizens of Altındağ smile. Altındağ Municipality Güneşevler Ice Skating Rink opened its doors again. The center, located in Güneşevler District, was put into operation after the completion of maintenance, repair and renovation works. The center, which was completely renovated from top to bottom, received great appreciation from the citizens. In the first weekend of its opening, young people from Altındağ flocked to the ice rink. Young people had fun to their heart's content. "MY FIRST ICE SKATING EXPERIENCE WAS VERY FUN" Fahri Serhat Özdemir (14), a member of Ali Ersoy Youth Center, said, "I have never experienced ice skating before. Today, I tried ice skating for the first time. It was very fun. I want to come to ice skating again. I invite everyone who is curious about this sport and wants to come here." Another member, Zümra Öztürk (9), said that she learned ice skating from the instructors at Ali Ersoy Ice Rink. Zümra said, "Ice skating is a great feeling... I am trying to improve myself and skate better. If I have friends who are afraid, I advise them not to be afraid at all and come here and learn. I thank our Mayor for his efforts." "ALTİNDAĞLIS DESERVE THE BEST SERVICES" Stating that they are doing whatever it takes to bring young people from Altındağ together with different branches of sports, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Our Ice Rink is a facility that we brought to Altındağ many years ago... We have completed the maintenance, repair and renovation works on our Ice Skating Rink in Güneşevler Neighborhood. In the past, many young people in Altındağ benefited from our facility, young people were both having fun and learning here. We had young people who devoted themselves to this sport and wanted to continue professionally. I hope it will happen again... We will continue to introduce our young people of Altındağ to different branches of sports." President Tiryaki invited all young people to meet the sport of ice skating.
