A semester full of science in Altındağ... The "Winter Academy", prepared for 6th and 7th grade students, has started with the cooperation of Altındağ Municipality Alev Alatlı Science Center and TÜBİTAK. Within the scope of the program, which will continue for 2 weeks, students will have the opportunity to receive theoretical and practical training in scientific fields. Within the scope of Academy-1, which will be held between 20-26 January, training will be provided in the fields of Physics, Biology and Mathematics, while in the Academy-2 program, which will be held between 27-30 January, Astronomy, Space and Aviation and Technology subjects will be discussed. At the end of the academy program, measurement and evaluation exams, science interviews and science workshops with family participation will be held. “WE WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SCIENCE” Altındağ Mayor Dr. said that they are very happy with the interest of Altındağ young people in science and technology. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Our young people show great interest in the workshops in our Altındağ Alev Alatlı Science Center. This interest increased even more during the semester. The Winter Academy, which was initiated in cooperation with TÜBİTAK, attracted great interest from our young people. We are always with our young people who are interested in science and technology." President Tiryaki said, "Our main goal is to introduce children to science and technology, to take them on a curious journey, to arouse curiosity in science, to prepare them for technology competitions... We will do whatever is necessary to raise generations that research, question, think with science and produce." “WE THANK OUR PRESIDENT” Mete Hamza Sürer, a 7th grade student who participated in the Winter Academy program at Altındağ Alev Alatlı Science Center, said, "The Winter Academy program is going very well. We will take mathematics and biology courses this week, and astronomy and aviation courses in the second week. My future goal is to be a computer engineer... I am working hard to achieve this goal. I believe that the training I received at the science center will benefit me in achieving my goal." Sürer expressed his gratitude to Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Tiryaki for supporting young people who are interested in science and technology.
