Altındağ's barrier-free center... A new education and training period has started at the Altındağ Municipality Barrier-Free Life Center. The center, which serves individuals with special needs aged 18 and over, offers courses such as computer, music, visual arts, sports and group workshops, as well as E-KPSS and computer operation. Parents, on the other hand, do not remain idle while waiting at the center. They can participate in activities organized for them and participate in recycling workshops where they can spend their free time. “THE BARRIER-FREE LIFE CENTER IS A MOST MADE SUIT FOR ME…” Esra Çakar (21), a member of the Barrier-Free Life Center, said that she registered to the Barrier-Free Life Center upon recommendation. Çakar said, "I didn't have many friends in the past, but after registering to the center, I made new friends. The Barrier-Free Life Center is a perfect fit for me... I attended painting, music and computer courses at this center. I progressed further in using computers. I am very pleased with the courses. I learned painting techniques, I play the guitar and piano. I love this place." Another member, Aykut Danişment (31), stated that he attended computer and E-KPSS courses and said, "I attended sports, music and computer courses at the Barrier-Free Life Center. I was an introvert person before. After meeting the center, my self-confidence increased and my circle of friends expanded. Even my sister said, 'You started to express yourself better.' I find it very useful in terms of both learning and socialization. I would like to thank our Mayor, Mr. Veysel Tiryaki." “THERE ARE NO OBSTACLES IN ALTındaĞ” Altındağ Mayor Dr. emphasized that they did whatever was necessary to overcome the obstacles in Altındağ. Veysel Tiryaki said, "In our Barrier-Free Life Center, we organize social events, workshops, trips, group activities, psychological support and sports activities for our individuals with special needs, as well as training and various activities for their parents. We support the social lives of our individuals with special needs and enable them to spend quality time. As Altındağ Municipality, we will always support individuals with special needs and their families." Mayor Tiryaki said, "We have bright and talented young people at our center. We will do whatever is necessary to integrate them into society and take more part in life. As long as they are happy. We will develop new projects to overcome all obstacles together in Altındağ and continue to serve them."
