Children from Altındağ became aware of first aid. The seminar titled "First aid and basic life support in children", organized by Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Pediatric Intensive Care Department Faculty Member Ebru Azapağası, in cooperation with Altındağ Municipality and Turkish Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Association, attracted great attention. In the seminar, firstly, information was given about what is first aid, what is a bad patient, the Heimlich maneuver, basic life support, what is an emergency, and the numbers to call in an emergency. Later, the life-saving "Heimlich Maneuver" was also explained in practice. Young people from Altındağ reinforced the knowledge they learned with practical training. “HOPE THERE WILL BE NO ONE LEFT IN ALTındaĞ WHO DOESN'T KNOW FIRST AID…” Stating that they were pleased with the interest shown by the young people of Altındağ to the first aid seminar, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "First aid is a subject that needs to be learned starting from childhood... We want children to have knowledge about what to do in emergency situations. As the municipality, we will continue to organize awareness-raising seminars. I hope there will be no one in Altındağ who does not know first aid..." Mayor Tiryaki called on all Altındağ children and young people to benefit from the Youth Centers and the educational opportunities offered in these centers.
