12 September intensity at Ulucanlar Prison Museum... Memory-refreshing events were held at the Ulucanlar Prison Museum, which was restored and turned into a museum by Altındağ Municipality, as it was the anniversary of the coup that took place on 12 September 1980. On the 44th anniversary of the coup, both memories and pain were renewed. MUHSİN YAZICIOĞLU'S SUIT IS NOW IN THE MUSEUM In the program, another important element was recorded in the museum inventory. The suit belonging to the late Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu was gifted to Ulucanlar Prison Museum by his adopted son Gökhan Bozbıyık. Yazıcıoğlu's suit will now be exhibited at the Ulucanlar Prison Museum. In another event, a special screening of the movie "Cage", which was shot in Ulucanlar Prison in 2015, took place. The film received great appreciation from visitors. Visitors who watched the movie experienced emotional moments. In addition, photographs taken by Barış Konor, a lecturer at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Fine Arts, by lighting the night with 300 candles in the Ulucanlar Prison Museum, were presented to the visitors. The photography exhibition titled "Those Who Burn in Their Light" received full marks from the visitors. VISITOR DENSITY TO THE MUSEUM The museum, where many memories of Turkish political life are displayed, also experienced a density of visitors due to September 12. Visitors flocking from all over Ankara and Türkiye showed great interest in the museum. Long queues formed in front of the museum from time to time.
