In addition, in the exhibition, visuals of the cane making process, the tools used by the masters and the changes that the Devrek cane has undergone from past to present are also presented to the visitors. The exhibition will be open to visitors this weekend. “WE ARE WORKING WITH OUR POWER TO KEEP THE ANCIENT HERITAGE OF ANATOLIAN ALIVE” Stating that they are very happy to host the Walking Stick Exhibition, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Zonguldak's Devrek district is famous for its walking sticks... Devrek walking sticks, which have come to life in the hands of masters from Devrek for centuries, attract attention with their exquisite workmanship, details and the cultural values they carry. The Devrek walking stick is not only a walking tool, but also a concrete indicator of the deep-rooted cultural heritage of Anatolia. As a municipality, we are working with all our strength to keep the ancient heritage of Anatolia alive. We would like to thank all institutions and organizations that protect our cultural heritage." "We will continue our support," he said. Mayor Tiryaki invited all Ankara residents to visit the Walking Stick Exhibition.
