Altındağ Municipality continues to organize seminars to raise awareness of Altındağ citizens. Women from Altındağ came together at the "Best Narcotic Police Mother" seminar held at Şair Baki Cultural Center. In the seminar held by the personnel of the Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate, information was given about what a banned substance is, the definition of substances, the reasons that lead to substance addiction, and the symptoms of substance use and addiction. "HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD IS USING SUBSTANCES?" Within the scope of the seminar, mothers were focused on how to understand whether their child is using substances, the addiction process and the characteristics of addicted people. Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Anti-Drug (SLEEP) application and the Ministry of Health's ALO 191 Anti-Drug Advisory and Support Line were explained. At the end of the seminar, NARVAS (Narcotic Case Analysis System) Project and centers for combating substance use and addiction were also mentioned. Women from Altındağ showed great interest in the seminar. "IT WAS AN ENLIGHTENING SEMINAR" Nezaket Çalışkan (66), a member of Aydınlıkevler Women's Education and Culture Center, who attended the seminar, said, "It was an enlightening seminar. We had the opportunity to learn things we did not know. What we heard and learned remained in our minds. I tell my children and grandchildren what I learned. I explain to them what I remember. Such seminars are very useful. We expect it to continue."
