Altınköy Open Air Museum, which brings the village life of 100 years ago to the city in Ankara, is a warm home for various animals, as well as structures such as the windmill, suspension bridge, grocery store, rose garden and historical houses. Approximately 200 animals such as partridges, geese, peacocks and gazelles survive in the museum. The babies born to the animals in Altınköy cause a sweet rush. The recent birth of three baby gazelles in the museum added color to natural life. Those who saw the baby gazelles could not hide their admiration. Baby gazelles, whose health checks were completed, started to live in the natural habitat of Altınköy under the control of expert veterinarians. “NATURAL LIFE ENVIRONMENT HAS BEEN CREATED FOR GAZELLES” Altındağ Mayor Dr. said that they were very happy about the 3 puppies that opened their eyes to life in Altınköy. Veysel Tiryaki: "Our gazelles are under the control of our veterinarians... We have protected their habitats to protect them from human interest and a little intervention. Our gazelles will continue to live here in accordance with their nature. The interest of our visitors to gazelles and even our other animals really makes us very pleased and happy. Because there is no such place in Ankara... Here, visitors have the opportunity to see gazelles, as well as many animals such as partridges, geese, peacocks, cows and chickens, in their natural environments. Our citizens, "Especially our children are very happy when they come here," he said. “THE NUMBER OF GAZELLES IN THE MUSEUM IS 7” Stating that Altınköy offers a real village life to its visitors, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki underlined once again that Altınköy is not a park, contrary to popular belief, but an open-air museum. Mayor Tiryaki said, "As everyone knows, Altınköy has officially become a museum very recently. This is a very important area, especially for our children who grow up in the city and cannot see village life and traditions closely... Altınköy offers a unique experience to our children who are unaware of village life. Children who come here have the opportunity to meet animals whose names they do not even know." "We recently had 3 baby gazelles. We were really happy. The number of gazelles in our museum has increased to 7. All of them are healthy and under our control..." said Mayor Tiryaki and called all Ankara residents to visit Altınköy Open Air Museum.
