Altındağ Municipality employees are with the Mayor... Altındağ Municipality employees gathered in front of the municipality building to support Mayor Veysel Tiryaki. A large group of workers chanted slogans such as "Where is Veysel Tiryaki, we are there" and expressed that they stood against union pressure. Employees carrying banners saying "We do not want union pressure" gave messages of support to the President. “WE WILL NOT SEND ALTındaĞ'S WORK TO ANYONE” Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki, in his press release last Friday, emphasized that the action was an unauthorized and provocative attempt made by people brought from outside. Tiryaki stated that there were no workers who were members of the Hizmet-İş Union in the municipality, and announced that all of the approximately 1400 municipal employees were on the side of the municipal administration. The Mayor particularly underlined that workers' salaries have been paid regularly and in full since they took office on April 1, 2024, and stated that union representatives have been continuing these actions without permission for about 15 days, in which not a single worker working in the municipality has participated. Mayor Tiryaki said, "We will not give the sweat of Altındağ to anyone," and also stated that none of the personnel will receive any receivables from the municipality in this process.
