Altındağ Municipality Summer Schools are full this year too. Summer School and Summer Sports School, to which 12 thousand young people registered, attracted great attention this year, as every year. In the summer schools, which provide free training in many branches such as swimming, volleyball, basketball, archery, wushu, taekwondo, football, kick boxing, table tennis, gymnastics, judo, wrestling, darts, guitar, baglama and chess, young people showed the greatest interest in the "archery" course. Young people who supported the ancestral sport of archery expressed their gratitude to Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Tiryaki. “WE THANK OUR MAYOR” Berat Tuğra Laçinok (11), one of the students who attended the archery course at Mete Gazoz Archery Center, said, "I have been interested in archery for 2 years. I see this sport as a profession, not as a hobby. I aim to be successful in archery. I would love to meet Mete Gazoz. I would like to thank our Mayor for offering us this opportunity." “NEW METE GAZOZLAR WILL LEAVE FROM ALTındaĞ INSHALLAH…” Stating that they are very pleased with the interest of Altındağ children in archery, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, "Young people from Altındağ showed great interest in the archery course. We received hundreds of applications in a short time. It is very pleasing that our young people support and show interest in our ancestral sport... We will do our best to not leave this interest unrequited. We will grow new Mete Gazoz in the facility named after our national archer Mete Gazoz, who won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and became the Olympic champion. As Altındağ Municipality, we will be the address of the champions of the future." I hope..." he said. President Tiryaki continued his words with the following statements: "Our children and young people who attend summer schools spend their free time productively and make new friendships during the holiday. I congratulate our families who encourage our children and young people to do sports. We, as the Municipality, will continue to do our part to prepare our children and young people for the future in the best possible way."
