Spiritual program in Altındağ... Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmi was commemorated in the program held in Altındağ on the 752nd anniversary of his reunion. On the anniversary of Mevlana's death, the "Şeb-i Arûs Mevlevi Mukabelesi" program, organized in cooperation with Ankara Music and Fine Arts University Classical Turkish Music Community, was greatly appreciated. Altındağ Mayor Dr. Citizens of Altındağ showed great interest in the program hosted by Veysel Tiryaki, which took place at Şair Baki Cultural Center on 29 October. In addition to President Tiryaki, the concert was attended by Ankara Music and Fine Arts University Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Özden also attended. The performance, accompanied by Mevlevi music, witnessed emotional moments. “MEVLANA HAS BEEN A GUIDE THAT GUIDES HUMANITY SINCE CENTURIES” Altındağ Mayor Dr. emphasized that Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmi shed light on humanity with his teachings. Veysel Tiryaki said, "We hosted the 752nd Şeb-i Arus program, which Mevlana Celâleddîn-i Rûmi described as 'Wedding Night'. According to Mevlana, death is not a separation, but reunion with God. For this reason, he sees the night of death as a wedding night. His Holiness Mevlana has been a guide to humanity for centuries with his teachings. His Holiness "Mevlana's advice is a universal call for peace and tolerance for humanity," he said. President Tiryaki said, "We thank everyone who contributed to the preparation of this meaningful program, and we commemorate the great Islamic scholar and Sufi Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmi with mercy and gratitude on the 752nd anniversary of his death." “I THANK OUR MAYOR FOR HOSTING” Providing information about the Sema show, Rector of Ankara Music and Fine Arts University, Prof. Dr. Erhan Özden: "Mevlana Celâleddîn-i Rûmi told the world about peace and love 8 centuries ago. The Sema show tells people about love, respect, that we come from God and that we will go to God. Each element worn by the whirling dervishes has a different meaning. While the coin on their heads symbolizes the tombstone, it tells about the death of the soul and the abandonment of the self. Tennûre symbolizes the shroud. "The cardigan on their backs symbolizes the grave and represents purification from the bonds of the world," he said. Professor Özden expressed his gratitude to Altındağ Municipality and Mayor Veysel Tiryaki for hosting the Şeb-i Arûs commemoration program.
