Altındağ Municipality hosted a magnificent concert. Organized in collaboration with the Center for Applied Research in Music and Performing Arts at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, the Classical Turkish Music concert held at the Ulucanlar Semi-Open Prison Cultural Center was met with great acclaim.

A wave of Classical Turkish Music swept through Altındağ. The “Dede Efendi Ferahfezâ Classical Ensemble” concert, organized in collaboration with the Center for Applied Research in Music and Performing Arts at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts and directed by Lecturer Esin Doğan, drew a large crowd. The concert, held at the Ulucanlar Semi-Open Prison Cultural Center, was attended by Altındağ Deputy Mayor Ahu Özyakup and Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Özden. The concert, featuring select works by Dede Efendi, was a treat for the ears.

Expressing their great pleasure at hosting the concert, Altındağ Municipality Deputy Mayor Ahu Özyakup stated, “We had the opportunity to come together with valued music lovers at this beautiful concert, where the rare gems of Classical Turkish Music were performed.  I congratulate all members of the Music and Performing Arts Application and Research Center at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts for this wonderful event. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the preparation of this meaningful concert and all Altındağ residents who attended.”

Prof. Dr. Erhan Özden, Rector of Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, also thanked the faculty members and students who contributed to the event.
