100,000 PEOPLE MET SCIENCE IN ONE YEAR

Located within Ankara's Capital National Garden, the Alev Alatlı Science Center has brought hundreds of thousands of people together with science since its opening. The Science Center was visited by 100,000 people in one year.

100,000 people met with science in one year. The Alev Alatlı Science Center, located within the Capital National Garden, has become a meeting point for science enthusiasts of all ages. Organizing numerous educational programs and events in collaboration with official institutions and organizations, the center's science workshops have been very popular. Open even during the summer months, the Science Center was used by approximately 47,000 people during the summer alone, bringing the total number of visitors to 100,000 in one year. Astronomy, Technology, Mathematics, Design, Natural Sciences, and Teknofest workshops have been highly appreciated by visitors.

 

WE WELCOME EVERYONE INTERESTED IN SCIENCE TO OUR SCIENCE CENTER

Expressing their great pleasure at the interest shown in the Science Center, Altındağ Mayor Dr. Veysel Tiryaki said, “Seeing our Science Center receive so much interest is truly a great pleasure… If this place attracts so much interest from our children and young people, and the number of students spending time here is increasing every day, it is very encouraging for the future of our country… I follow the work done in the workshops with great interest. I congratulate all our children, all our visitors, and the teachers who have dedicated their efforts to them. May their interest in science and technology, the light of curiosity in their eyes, never fade.”

President Tiryaki added, “We are proud of our young people from Altındağ. We will provide all the support we can to help them achieve even greater successes.” He also added that they invite all children and young people living in Ankara to visit the Alev Alatlı Science Center and to meet with science and technology.
